Nurture + Nature + Kin will bring together seven young BIPOC young women and non-binary environmental advocates in community to nourish the mind, body and soul. This weekend retreat exists to ease the new school year stress, provide tools to manage eco-anxiety, and inspiration to lead with hope and intention all while deepening their connection and access to the natural world. The weekend will merge together workshops and activities that cover climate anxiety, well-being, self & community care and actionable steps of nurturing self, community and the planet.

We gratefully acknowledge that we will be gathering on the ancestral, unceded territories of the Kwikwetlam First Nation which lies within the shared territories of the Tsleil-Watuth, Katzie, Musqueam, Squamish and Sto:lo Nations. The people of these nations are the original caretakers and have stewarded these lands since time immemorial and continue to today. We will practice stewardship, gratitude, and walk upon the soils with reverence and gratitude.
